After more leaks and rumors about fortnite Crossovers usually go under the knife, and this week Epic Games confirmed plans to cross over the Dragon Ball as part of Battle Royale. The first teaser was dropped this week featuring the iconic images of Shenron, the wish-granting dragon summoned by collecting Dragon Balls. The start date is set for August 16th as well to confirm when we will see this crossover, but we still don’t know officially everything that will be included in the event at this time.
This teaser can be seen below courtesy of fortnite The Twitter account that shared an image of Shenron as well as a release date and a quote reminiscent of Shenron’s dialogue when interacting with those who summoned the Dragon. Given that Shenron is an unlikely candidate for character flogging and yet he’s the focus of this joke regardless, we’ll probably see a point of interest on fortnite The map refers to Shenron given the way this image is presented.

If nothing else, we can bet there are some Dragon Ball skins for players to get fortnite Whether those new outfits arrive via in-game challenges, the Item Shop, or a combination of both. Based on some supposed leaks we’ve seen before (and there are plenty of them), we’ll see many new skins added to the game. Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma are all names thrown up in these leaks as the ones insiders say are very likely recipients of the skin. If nothing else, Goku and Vegeta are almost certain to get skins given their prominent roles in the Dragon Ball franchise.
Outside of the surfaces themselves, we’ve also seen references to some kind of capsule-style in-game items that Capsule Corp makes in the Dragon Ball universe. There will supposedly be an in-game legendary weapon similar to Goku’s Kamehameha in the game as well, and when you consider other cosmetic categories like back bling, emotes, and more, it looks like Dragon Ball fans will have a lot to look forward to in this upcoming crossover.
Fortnite’s Dragon Ball Cross will officially start on August 16th.
